Hi all,
Just wanted to let everyone know that RetarDEAD, the sequel to the indie cult hit Monsturd will be available on DVD in May.
The trailer can be viewed here:

Below the trailer, is a link to a free MP3 with the end theme. Feel free to download it, burn it or share it.
In short, here's brief synopsis of the movie:
Evil has come to the Butte County Institute of Special Education, and its students will never be the same. After surviving a battle to the death with his own monstrous creation, Dr. Stern returns to continue his horrible research in this blood-drenched sequel to the cult hit "Monsturd." Armed with a fatal hyper-intelligence serum, the mad doctor transforms a quiet community into an army of flesh-eating zombies. It's a showdown of limb-chopping, head-bursting proportions as Stern's nemesis, F.B.I. agent Susan Hannigan, and the local sheriff's department take on the zombie plague in the ultimate battle royale.
Basically, it's "Flowers for Algernon" meets "Night of the Living Dead."
A couple cool things about the movie is that it features the Living Dead Girlz, a San Francisco-based zombie dance troupe. Check 'em out at www.livingdeadgirlz.com
And Jello Biafra, former lead singer of the Dead Kennedy's, plays the town's mayor.
Couple of notes: We know the title is offensive. This was a business decision. We thought about renaming the movie InfecDEAD a few months back, but we asked ourselves the question, "10 years from now what are people going to remember? A movie called InfecDEAD or a movie called RetarDEAD?"-- We answered our own question pretty quickly.
Also, keep in mind that the special kids in this movie are the victims, not the punch line. We don't make fun of them for a cheap gag. That's not what we're about. Yes, we know no matter what we say we're going to take some slings and arrows for it, but you know what? I'd bet you five bucks that 99% of the people who squawk about the title haven't even seen it.
We anticipate DVDs will be ready in May, which brings up the question of distribution. Who are we going to sign with?
We're going to keep our options open for this for the time being. Elite, Brain Damage Films and Troma have all expressed interest in viewing the final product. We'll keep you updated as the movie progresses.
