GUTTENBERG, NJ – The Horror Channel, the premier broadband venue for the best horror, terror and suspense programming, has entered into an agreement with Akimbo™ Systems, creator of the first and largest Internet-to-TV video-on-demand service for television. The Horror Channel’s wide array of programming, including each of its original online series, will be available to Akimbo Service subscribers just as this year’s Halloween season is reaching its peak.
Akimbo is the first fully functional marriage of TV and the Internet, combining easy access to new and fresh shows with the comfort of watching them anywhere in the home. The Akimbo Service features more than 13,000 on-demand videos from 200 content providers in seven languages. Consumers can choose from approximately 100 categories of mainstream and specialty video that fits every interest.
